So it goes that if you generate certain feelings — and you have the power to create any feeling you desire — then you increase the power of your emotional magnetism. But we need to limber up, loosen the images and adjectives encrusted on our goals and most-desired states. It helps to get poetic, lyrical, and abstract. Go there with me.
OK, Danielle, here we go.
First, another burning question, courtesy of Alanis Morissette, from her beautiful song Thank You:
“How about not equating death with stopping?”
Let that question marinate in your subconscious as we go for a dip in a beautiful, warm, natural, hot-spring-fed pool in the mountains of Japan.
I am lying on my back, floating in this liquid heaven, so mineral-rich it supports my weight fully.
The stars above me form a perfect dome, with no moon to dim them. I breathe slowly, in and out, my mind fully in the moment. My breath is vapour, merging with the steam arising from the pool in the crisp mountain air.
As I float, my face shines with tears of joy and loss melding together as I realize that the moment has come. The moment when I can finally say “Ahhh.”
The pain of sorrow experienced ever since my wife Traci’s death is finally lifted from my heart, for I have ensured completion of the project she started. The book containing her inspirational life story, reflections on overcoming adversity, poetry and images is published and is inspiring millions around the planet.
As I float and gaze up at the stars, I realize that an endless realm of possibilities awaits me now, but the feeling in my heart is one of utter contentment and peace. At this moment, my body could melt away into the sensuous warm water that surrounds it. My molecules could blend with the water and arise into the mountain air, to fall again as rain on fields far away, or drain into a glacial stream and make their journey into the great ocean of being. I am merging with the infinite, where I may meet with my beloved once again.
